Creator Agreement

1. What you are

You are an independent contractor. You are not an employee, partner, agent, or representative of VoyageCoat, and nothing here creates any of those relationships. You control how, when, and where you make content. You are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn. If tax paperwork is required because of how much we pay you, our payout provider will collect it from you directly.

2. Commission and payment

• You earn 10% of the pre tax, post discount sale price on every completed order placed through your link.
• Your link tracks for 30 days from a visitor's first click.
• Commission is earned when the order ships and the return window closes. Cancelled, refunded, or fraudulent orders do not earn commission, and any commission already credited on them will be reversed.
• Shipping, duties, and taxes are not commissionable.
• Payouts are issued monthly once your balance exceeds $50. All amounts are in US dollars.
• Milestone rewards are based on lifetime completed sales. Progress does not reset.

We can change commission rates and milestone rewards going forward. If we do, we will tell you before the change takes effect, and it will not apply retroactively to sales you have already made.

3. Disclosure

Make it clear you earn a commission when you share your link. How you do that is up to you and the platform you are posting on, and keeping to those rules is your responsibility. Do not call your content sponsored or a paid partnership unless we have actually paid you for it. If there is ever a problem with how something is disclosed, we will ask you to fix it, and we can remove you from the program if it is not sorted out.

4. What you may not do

• Bid on our brand name or any variation of it in paid search or shopping ads
• Buy ads that send traffic to voyagecoat.com without written permission from us
• Claim the coat is approved, endorsed, or permitted by TSA, any airline, or any government body
• Promise that the coat will not be counted as a bag, or that any specific airline will allow it
• Use coupon, cashback, or deal sites to generate commissions
• Register domains, social handles, or app names containing our brand name
• Buy your own coat through your own link, or arrange for friends and family to do so, in order to earn commission on it
• Post content that is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or unlawful
• Represent yourself as speaking for VoyageCoat, or answer customer service questions on our behalf
• Modify, obscure, or remove our branding from the product in content

5. We may use your content

Your content stays yours. We are asking for permission to use it for a limited time, not forever.

When you post content that features the VoyageCoat, promotes it, or uses your creator link, you are giving us permission to use that content, and to use how you look and sound in it, in our marketing. That permission is not exclusive, so you can do whatever you want with your own content at the same time. It runs for 90 days from the day you post, and then it ends on its own. If we want to keep using something past that, we will ask you. Under it we may:

• Reproduce, edit, crop, caption, translate, and adapt it
• Display it on our website, in our emails, and on our social accounts
• Use it in paid advertising on any platform
• Hand it to an editor or an agency working on our behalf, and upload it to the ad platforms we run on, so it can actually be cut and served. They only get the same permission you gave us, and only to do work for us

Requests during the 90 days. If there is a piece of content you would rather we stopped using, email hello@voyagecoat.com and tell us which one. We will look at every request and we will usually say yes, but the 90 days is what you have agreed to here, so we are not obliged to pull something before it is up.

Two things we cannot take back. Emails we already sent and printed materials already produced cannot be recalled, and those stay as they are. We may also keep internal copies for our records, but we will not publish or advertise with them once you have asked us to stop.

What we will not do. We will not sell your content on its own as a product. We will not use it to imply you endorse something you did not actually endorse.

What you promise us. You own or control everything in the content you post. That includes music, footage, images, and anyone appearing on camera. If someone else appears in your content, you have their permission for us to use it too. If you use music you do not have commercial rights to, we cannot run it, and you are responsible for any claim that results.

6. Our brand

We are giving you permission to use the VoyageCoat name, logo, and product images for the sole purpose of promoting the product through this program. That permission ends when your participation ends. You may not use our marks in any way that suggests you own them or that you are part of our company.

7. Ending it

Either of us can end this at any time, for any reason, with no notice. If you leave or are removed, you keep any commission already earned on completed, non refunded orders, and we will pay it on the normal schedule. You stop earning on new sales, your link is deactivated, and your permission to use our brand ends. If you are removed for fraud, undisclosed promotion, or serious breach of section 4, we may withhold unpaid commissions. Leaving the program does not by itself end the permission in section 5. Content you already posted stays covered for the rest of its 90 days. Sections 1, 5, 6, 8, and 9 survive.

8. Legal terms

The program is provided as is. We are not liable to you for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the total commission we paid you in the twelve months before the claim. You agree to cover us for claims that arise from your content, your conduct, your failure to disclose, or your breach of this agreement. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.

9. Changes

We can update this agreement. If we make a material change, we will notify you at the email on your account. Continuing in the program after that means you accept the updated version. A change to this agreement does not extend the 90 days on content you have already posted.
